In a world obsessed with newness, looking expensive (is that really the goal?), and fighting to stay fashionably relevant, I crave something more.
I crave the feel of a well-worn linen shirt. The delicate shift of a silk skirt. The cozy comfort of a well-loved cashmere sweater. The familiar hug of worn-in denim. A leather bag that proudly shows its battle scars. And jewelry that lived a life long before it came into my possession.
I want to look into my closet and see old friends who have shown up for me time and time again in those moments when I needed the perfect outfit.
Honestly, I want to wear my pieces. I want to live in them. With them. I want to give them a life and the respect they deserve.
And, so, this blog is dedicated to my closet.
